Board and Management Team

The team assembled to execute the Archer strategic and business objectives have proven track records within the power development, real estate, renewables, and power delivery sectors. Individual short version biographies of career experience are provided as follows:


Director & CEO

Mr. Ashby has over 40 years of business experience as the owner and operator of his own start-up companies and joint venture partnerships. In 1970, he cofounded a non-destructive testing company that quickly became the largest pipeline x-ray company in Canada with an international presence. He spent over 20 years in the oil and gas industry providing non-destructive testing and general pipeline inspection for TransCanada Pipeline, Enbridge, Nova Corporation, Westcoast Transmission, and numerous other companies. He provided consulting services, sourcing millions of dollars in Federal and Provincial grants, loans, and subsidies, for a broad range of companies in sales, service, and high-tech industries. He has extensive experience in marketing, investor relations, and funding for early-stage companies. Mr. Ashby is known for business excellence in organizational behaviour, general management, and investor relations.


Director & CFO

Mr. Tinker brings over 40 years of experience in business and corporate law including financings, mergers and acquisitions for natural resource users and companies commercializing intellectual properties. He brings to Archer considerable experience in corporate governance, securities regulation compliance, and corporate secretary duties. He has had a teaching positions at the Haskayne School of Business University of Calgary and is an instructor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey. Wayne completed a Bachelor of Commerce in 1980 and a Bachelor of Law in 1984 and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1985, practiced law in Calgary, Alberta from 1985 to 1999.



Mr. Sherba was president of Westcana Electric Inc. and Lumisave Industrial Technologies. His new electrical company, Krueger Electrical Ltd., operates in Western Canada and specializes in clean energy projects, high-rise construction, specialty work, and industrial installations. Mr. Sherba has a proven track record in contract procurement and project planning, execution, and finalization. He is actively involved in the growth and development of several clean-tech companies, as well with Honka Homes Canada, EcoAxis global, and Platinum Solar Tower Systems. He graduated from Scottsdale Community College with a business degree. He is a Red Seal journeyman electrician in British Columbia, and acquired FSRA contracting certification, making his company licensed to work on high-voltage substations and transmission lines. Mr. Sherba was also the Director of Electrical Contractors of BC from 1996 to 2014, and the Director of the Northern BC construction association from 1991 to 2011.



Mr. Blaha is a proven business executive with more than 27 years of experience closing acquisitions and power developments in Canada, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, and the United States. He has extensive experience developing natural gas, solar, wind, and hydro power generation projects. In the late 1990s, he helped grow an early-stage independent Alberta power producer into a company with $3B in assets within 10 years. He has extensive experience in resource development, stakeholder engagement, feasibility, contracting, financial modelling, project finance, power marketing, engineering, and construction. Mr. Blaha has demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, marketing, finance, operations, and organizational development.
Mr. Blaha has a successful track record developing partnerships with Canadian First Nations recently serving on the board of an Alberta-based First Nations development company with diverse renewable energy and power transmission interests. Mr. Blaha is a chemical engineer and has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
